No one answering on the land line, i would opt for vacation ZM...

He's living close to my mum's place, but I have no way to get there myself to check.

just checked in our e-mail correspondence - Gerd is not having smartphone , so no viber etc.

so , I didn't get his mobile No. , when I asked , thinking of instant communication ........

Agreed, he told me had a non smartphone cellphone, but I don't have it...

I saw him say 5 weeks ago, absolute top form and very healthy appetite for "kaffee und kuchen" , for what it's worth.
