I'm OK but they keep pushing the surgery back due to staff sickness, snow, emergency cases...will be a few more weeks before they put the skill-saw to my chest! Miserable weather...the river is very high and dirty, so not even any fishing. Reading trash thrillers, making a new fishing rod and throwing Zs at the ceiling!! Trying to stop smoking cigarettes - down from 40+ to less than 20 now - but it is difficult to do any more.
The Mrs was meant to be skiing in France last week...3 plane cancelations so she stayed here...the friends had a 48+ hour journey to meet very bad conditions....One literally cracked his skull open by a swimming pool...12 staples to close it, whilst a girl broke a leg! Carol is now "less unhappy" that she stayed in Scotland.😉 The reward was mine as I got fed properly!
She has good insurance so no costs involved.
