Without side-effects, I can do a week of no sleep, does turn my head into a squeezed lemon look. (ask Jan Didden, Joachim Gerhard, or Martina Schoener) I have a company to run, first 5 months of this year have been hectic.
(my personal record is 25 months of zero beauty sleep, but the sideshow ranged from loss of a day/night biorhytm, body temperature of 40+C, increased bodyweight resulting from fluid retention, extreme sweating, chronic heart rhytm issues, average heart beat rate of 100+/minute, to lactic acid build-up and micro fissures in muscles. After a couple of weeks of no sleep in Brooklyn (aka Breukelen), one receives company of imaginative friends in every eye corner, at least you're never alone)
I would have expected you to find the Patrick Duffy hands more of interest (Mark Harris, Man of Atlantis, late '70s)
