All damping materials work less well at lower frequencies.

This is highly correlated with the wavelength you are trying to absorb. Lower, longer waves need to pass thru more damping to be absorbed.

Yes I understand the idea is to absorb 2nd and higher orders of the wanted resonance frequency.
Googeling different materials sound dampening properties Rockwool seem a little better than glassfibre wool.

This responce seem OK or to much damping?
