I also read reviews of various hi-fi and hi-end audio equipment, so I prefer to listen to my diy amplifiers on the same material that I see in reviews in magazines and on websites. In this regard, coincidences are possible.

The sound of the Only music amplifier can be described as balanced, detailed, rich and very energetic, and it also features stunning transparency. Plays cheerful, energetic and organized.
This is the character of the amp.
It performs the same at low to moderate level of volume.
Many amps can’t perform at low volume.(my humble opinion).
Just recently I refurbished a SAE 2500 MK25. Has almost the same character.
But it is a different beast all together.
I think I'm going to stop doing all kinds of 'traditional' and 'obsolete' tests
such as Thd measurements, DC offset checks, observing sinus and square waves on the oscilloscpe, or even describing my test environment.
Why bother? As long as my amp exhibits "detail and mobility of the treble", it's all good.
We all can relate to these statements. Well defined, understood, deterministic, and backed by science.
I think my last amp was less mobile in the area of bass.

What does "mobility of the treble" mean?
"We can hear everything we measure, but we can't measure everything we hear. Let your ears be your guide."
Not so: you cannot hear everything you measure, and you can measure everything you hear; your ears must never be your guide.

I'm not 100% sure. Read more about this here. But even that doesn't explain what does "mobility of the treble" mean.
Probably talking about the pitch of the treble --"highs & lows " or to put it another way the ability of an amplifier to covey to the listener minute detail of reproduction without distortion --in a clear manner .
Not to be confused with an amplifier which has an uneven frequency response and accentuates higher frequencies usually labelled "bright " .
All this is very subjective and probably wont go down well with those people with $1000,s of high end audio test equipment and to make it worse the word "musicality " arises which again subjectively is the blending in of both the highs & lows to the rest of the frequency response to produce music that is agreeable to the ear ----again very subjective as each person has their own opinion on this .
This also brings up what loudspeakers /amplifiers -etc you add to this , you can see where this is going and I will not be drawn into an argument about it ,just stating whats required to produce a reasonable reproduction of live music which I am sure we all agree on ?

Basically he is not comfortable with nuances in English, and he is trying to say he likes the sound of whatever he plays through this amp.
He is satisfied, and has the feeling of a job well done by himself.
That is part of the experience, creating something that you are happy to enjoy.

The two points I was trying to make:
1) the elaborate and poetic (?) phrases being used, such as "detail and mobility of the treble" used in review(s), are nonsensical, and without any real meaning, except perhaps to the author and his imagination
2) bxm4418 copied the musical review of this amp from another source/author (see post #21), almost word for word, which makes his whole review (post #20) even more nonsensical and meaningless.

I didn't want to offend anyone, these are just my subjective impressions from the first listening. Later I will try to take measurements using my personal computer, although I am not sure of their accuracy.
