The most NEUTRAL/transparent sounding Adcom ?

Hi guys, I am looking second hand dual mono ADCOM amps(designed by Nelson Pass) to power studio speakers and I am looking for a very neutral and transparent amplification(least possible harmonics). It also have to be at ease with 4 Ohm without much noise(good SNR value).

The prices are very nice for the value, so I was very interested.

Would you please tell me which models made by Nelson, have these characteristics ?

If you know of anyone selling their Adcoms, also please let me know 😀

Thank you very much! 😀

Papa designed the Mosfet GFA-5200 (not dual mono), 5300, 5400, 5500.
But none are remarkable until you bias them beyond 1/2 A and get the PS ripple below 4mV.
The big daddy 5802 is supposed to be pretty good, but it holds its value.

Having heard the 5500, 5503 and 5802, I'd definitely state that 5802 has the upper hand. Those two also sound pretty good, but 5802 is so much better.

The only thing that should be considered with 5802 is that it needs some time to warm up in order to sound good, some 15-20 minutes in Class A would be enough to warm it up. And once it's warm it literally becomes a heater - just yesterday it bumped my summerhouse room temperature from 11.1C to 16.7C in 2 hours. Wow.

Supported by 565 monoblocks for the bass section, this duo sound phenomenally good.
