I had that problem for a good few years and nothing cured it.
My feet were often in a terrible state from scratching.
Then a company brought out Lamisil and that was a permanent cure.
Also a cure for 'jock itch' - a pretty common fungal infection not confined to Scotsmen!
You could have ended it sooner by simply piddlin on yer feet in the shower.

in our model current will flow at any point where there is a potential difference, the larger the potential difference the higher the current, when that current reaches a threshold value a certain switch called attraction opens depending on the configuration of the circuit. lets call our positive group p and our negative group n. In ps timeline p will start off near 0 volts , the voltage will progressively increase then plateau and start dropping again towards zero at this point some p s decide they want to be an n, conversely our n starts some where near zero and progressively moves towards -100, plateaus and then starts climbing towards zero, some n's decide they dont want to be n's but p's
