Time to go away from prototyping. I have bought som solid oak to make the "final" speakers. The front baffles will have a 7 inch full range and a small amt tweeter. Behind the baffle I will place a u baffle "barrel" with a 15 inch woofer. The barrel will be stuffed for a cardioid like pattern

May have you the spl graph or Xmax of the woofer from a review (not in the datasheet!) for sim. ?
There should be plenty of pro car drivers for hifi needs in the bass dpt... that's a good thing to see more such things 🙂

I have the xmax from the manufacturer somewhere. It's more than enough I remember. Most car audio woofers are not good for domestic use. Free air woofers can be good. This woofer is also used in a commercial OB speaker.

Hello again. 🙂 Did you post on the prototype? The Cube is effectively naked, best response but most challenging for the driver and EQ?
I don't have much from the latest prototype. The Cube only needs eq below approx 300/350 hz. In the range above 6-7 khz I supplement with a tweeter otherwise I think beaming is too much of a disadvantage. Woofer needs some kind of baffle, if naked multiple woofers are needed.
Have you seen Charlie Laub's thread on naked dipole? He decided there was no real advantage to naked woofers.
