Andy,
I don't know a lot about OB/dipoles or their issues, but I just read PeteMcK's old thread where he created them from old drivers he couldn't bear to throw away....brilliant! Great stuff. I've accumulated a few old drivers too and would love to use them if I knew how. I'll get there one day...haha, if I don't blow up too many more amplifiers! Hmm, a R909 clone looks good? grant

Progress is being made !!
pic 1. Front view of speakers with bass cabs started and attached temporarily. 'Cat' would choose that moment to look up and move !!

pic 2. From behind, showing chassis of bass cab. This cab will have a second layer glued to the inside plus bracing, driver holes etc.
Note the section at the top where the x-o will reside.

Wow!, Andy
They look great...almost kind of Dalek? lol. Re, your kind invitation to say hello , well my old car is fixed! So when the rain stops , I'd really like to hear and see your designs Andy! I'm particularly interested in your 3-way series crossovers ...I could be a 'convert'.. given your well chosen drivers constraint. cheers , grant
