I accidently typed photons rather than protons, and the spell checker could not spot it, and I didn't either, until now. I am still 1/2 blind, just having the final operation on my eye, this last Monday. My left eye still doesn't work properly, so it is tough to just glance at something and make sure to get it right.

The problem in the past was that John did not have administrator account on the MAC. Similar as when you have a GUEST account on a conventional PC. So he could not attach images, and also we had problems when I did send him MicroCap files. Now he probably has the administrator account, or the new DIYaudio forum SW engine, that appeared about 1-2 month ago, manages attachements in a different way, than the former engine.

I use a Mac & find that there is no problem. The old site required a host site to 'store' the images. (It was a far less useable method as the 'host' often removed the attachement. Try and open some of the old attachements - especially those hosted by the bucketshop type of host!

Edmond, apparently John is unable to post graphics for some reason. I don't know why. So what he does is to email them to other posters and have them post the graphics for him. SY has done this for John in the past too if I remember right. I understand and agree with your point, but Pavel posted that just to help John out, not to make a statement on his own behalf.

Okay, I understand. But In that case he should make a clear reference to John and the subject.
So my statement still holds: A graph without accompanying text is meaningless
