After reviewing all the threads and blogs I've come to a couple conclusions:

1. For any diy audio member, Blacksheep is offering 50% off our RCA interconnects. (about $40).

2. I've started too many threads. Can you delete a thread after a while or does it just stay forever?

It's there for ever, unless you ask a mod to merge them all to 1, this is what lingering around on the forum helps with 🙂

Good morning Fred and everyone!

Well, while I'm in the states, I have about 10 interconnects with me. Some are samples, some are for sale. If you want, you T/T. Contact me by private e-mail at blacksheepkable @ hotmail. com.

Frank

OK SO NOW i'm confused, first you said you only had a few IC, now you have 10, so whats up ? Whats going on here ?

Ease up there Jase.

I was planning on putting some interconnects in some shops, but if any diy members want to buy them, I will offer the interconnects to them first.

Is there a problem?

Frank

No problem, just trying to figure out your threads, you stated you are away on holidays and only have a few IC's to witch you want to hand out for samples to get ideas on how to improve etc etc, GREAT idea, but you just posted again stating you have 10 pairs now ? so ....

Hi,
[*]
[*]Just checked my inventory here. I realize I only have 1 interconnect. The rest are down in NJ. I will be back there on the 26th of December.
The 1 interconnect I do have will go out tomorrow to Jase in Canada.

1 interconnect is being shipped out from Bangkok to Andrea in Italy.

For IGWT in Minnesota, I'll send your when I get down to NJ.

Today the NJ Audio Society meets. I sent them a set of interconnects and speaker cables to have them take a look and test them out. Will have some feedback in about a month or so.

Europe will happen when I head back to Bangkok.

Again, if you are interested in testing the interconnect out, just drop me an e-mail with you mailing address and I will send a set out. Will send out a total of maybe 5 in the US and let them circulate.

Frank

humm,,

Really hard to follow the thread, but if you read back a little further, I stated I only had X amount with me in Ithaca and the rest where at my sisters house in NJ.

Jase, in the future just state relavent information. This is really not productive.

Met with Joe yesterday and handed him a set of the BKM's (thanks for the abbreviation, so much easier than writing it). Looks like we are up against the KAS audio Maestro Interconnect. I didn't ask if it was the .5,1,2.5, or 3 meter, but I would guess 1 meter, maybe 2. Joe actually has a couple others as well. But I'll wait for him to fill you in on that later...

Looks like I will also be sending some samples to the president of the New York Audio Society as well. Talked to him earlier. He has agreed to pass them out to some select members and test them and give me their opinions.

Frank

Alright, here is my honest “opinion”. First, good idea on the case for the packaging, low cost effective looks decent and saves the environment from all them plastics and packaging materials and stuff that is just going to be wasted.

So, now lets dig into the RCA Connector, it is a Rean RCA connector from parts express or another source,

Cost of RCA per pair is $1.25us, you would think ( I THINK ) some one that is starting a cable company would at least try to use a decent quality connector, nothing cheap but nothing super expencive that contains alot of mass. To be honest this connector is the cheapest connector i have ever seen, the material inside is really basic. Shows very easily how cheap the connector really is. Personally if spent more time on google, or searching on line you could find a better connector and actaully provide a decent cable, if the next comment was also approached and changed.

Next the wire, ok i understand that you need 10 wires for some odd reason, and you have this very nice braid that looks absolutoly amazing, however.! The quality of the wire, well its value is .001$ its just hook up wire that comes on spools that manufactures use for connecting things inside products just as alarm clocks or basic house hold equipment, wire is SO nothing special, i would think that making and starting a cable company one would at least source out HIGH or decent quality cable since these are a good part of the system that has to be of quality.

URL to wire,

Welcome to Thai Wonderful Wire Cable

Pretty basic wire with 300V rating, really REALLY nothing special. If spent time on google or on line shops, you would be able to find way better higher quality wire and actually make better cables. When this is done, you could be actually selling and producing cable that people are gonig to give you the WOW factor after hearing them.

For me right now, the only WOW factor i see is WOW people are going to pay 89$ US for wire and connectors and packaging that costs a mere 6$ TOPS!

Sorry to be so harsh, but you said you wanted my honest opinion.!

I will post pictures later at higher resolution and very good quality.

Testing the cable ? Well, maybe!
