The DAO SE all-FET Class-A ZGF Headphone Amplifier

There appears no limit these days as to how realistic computer simulations could be.
The rear panel alone is 10mm thick !!
You can scale the rest from there.

Note also the ventilation holes along the top edge of the heatsinks, hidden between the fins.
The amount of fine details is exemplary.

You could be very proud indeed of your creation. ;)

Ok, so weekend is over and i spent some hours listening to varied his res music....

What i can say is that starting from a completely dark background ( don't hear a thing even with no input and volume at max ) , instrument and voice separation is clear and precise, rich controlled bass where it should be , natural voices and perfectly controlled treble and micro-details.

A joy to listen to.....

I tried various Headphones and settled on my Fostex, the amp shows of each "phones" personality quite clearly so i'm guessing it can only get better if i had access to some ridiculously priced headphones....but how much better?

I will enjoy all my music all over again with the ones i have, it is difficult to imagine any better right now.

Will see later with a H2 adjustment mod to be done soon.

Meanwhile some pictures of final phase of build:

Not that JLH Patrick..

I was referring to the True JLH Head-amp.....that is to be boxed soon .:D

The one you showed the link is something i would love to do out of my admiration for JLH's work, but at the time stopped working on it because of the thermal runaway issues....which you solved i know.

:)
