I have BB6 Pro and LspCAD, (both the Pro and regular versions).

Regular LspCAD $150, IMO is a better program than the Harris Tech ones. The only benefits to the $395 LspCAD Pro is the Aural emulator (which is pretty cool) and a few advanced functions most people don't need.

Regular LspCAD doesn't have the visual eye candy appeal of BB6 Pro, but it can do things BB6 can't dream of.

Go to the Adire site and download their demo version of LspCAD with their driver parameters preloaded. This will give you an idea of how powerful LspCAD is.

Edit:

Forgot to say that LspCAD now includes a program called 'JustMLS'. It's a basic MLS measuring system, kind of nice if you don't want to pop for a dedicated, and much more expensive testing system

I also looked around for speaker design software for quite some time and also ended up buing the LSPCad Standard.

The features of LSPCad appealed to me and also the support. There is a special mailing list for LSPCad users. Also the JustMLS measurement software is very good...

I have now owned the software for about a month and I'm getting experience with it by modeling my current speaker (Dynaudio BM5) studio monitors. For now I can say that the manual is well written and helpful and also the user interface is quite good and one gets used to it very quickly.....

By the way, the official site of the LSPCad is
http://www.ijdata.com

and you could also take a look at
http://philsaudio.stryke.com/lspcad.htm
the site of one of LSPCads resellers.
