Curious of opinions on this matter. I have only experience on the xa30.5. An amazing amplifier that ticks all the boxes in my book. The norwegian magazine Fidelity (Audio Fidelity - Artikler/Tester) raves about this amp in the latest issue. Claiming the xa30.5 to be maybe the best in this series!
it really depends of speaker and listener demands
premise is that all XA.5 amps are sharing same basic quality elements
generally - smaller amps are usually somewhat more refined than bigger ones , so it's logical that - if smaller amp is enough , it'll sound slightly better than bigger brother
