"Hell on Wheels"
A picture of the location where the Big Brother original was shot, bunch of stacked containers. I lived at half a mile's distance at the time.
His partner in the BB days is currently good for 2 billion dollars thanks to the commercial succes of the format. He stepped out of the reality & soap business over a dozen years ago and went back to producing musicals, currently owns theatres in various countries.
(I briefly worked with/for him in my student days, TV game show, work 12, get paid 24. Speaking of strange odds, my g/f's children have the same last name and are distantly related)

They finally gave "Johnny Got His Gun" by Dalton Trombo the DVD treatment.
Thing is, 2/3d of the viewers have the desire to watch filth.
We are not going to discuss this, because I don't have arguments against this.
The road leads us to Brave New World through Big Brother.
The level of this is groteque down here at the moment ... riddled with squirm invoking "dumbness" in the approach and style - the set is basically dead meat in the evening ...... (patiently waiting for the reality show thing to jump the shark).
An impressive short film, (5'27) :

Thanks for reminding me that's the one of the three I have not seen, watched "Runaway Train" today originally a Kurosawa story but produced by Golan Globus and actually survived due to John Voight's performance. A good double feature with "Midnight Cowboy" just to cheer you up.
