Thanks for the story link on these Zero Cool it matches what Tom shared with me. I will see if I can get one going today. That volume control might just be the best part left on these.
@Wayne,
If you can shoot and subsequently post some more pictures of the internals it would be very much appreciated. It would be nice to see how these were put together.

Hi, looking at the picture of post #33 it seems that for an AB class amp, of 100/150W, using the whole aluminium chassis as heatsink can be enough, no fan , no extruded profiles, just the chassis surface and a slotted top cover?
A superb aesthetics and execution, BTW

I will take some better pictures when I get back to Auburn as I have packed them up already. Both of them were tested today and worked pretty well but will need some contact cleaning and maybe a capacitor or two.
Those are stereo 10k daven pot on the volume control . About 125 dollars plus . they will need to be re-greased . Interesting lube it non petroleum type like pomade ( hair grease) that is not a joke . Have rebuilt a few of them that what it takes. Those are what where used in a large number of broadcast boards Collins , Gates and the like.
Very cool, and very rare. These were supposed to be about as good as you could do design wise at the time.
