I'm probably guessing badly as to the port dimensions. I've been guessing the segments are about 8" long, and 2-2.5" high..
Did some checking on those port dimensions, and you are (partially) right. The compression ratio is about 8:1. I think I originally planned on 6:1, but had to make some adjustments during construction. The result is a bit higher CR than I intended. I don't think it is causing any problems though.
I sent a letter to Santa to ask for a more powerful amp for my woofers. So hopefully, I can get some new measurements here in a few weeks. Will keep y'all updated.

And yep, i realized my 10:1 CR estimate was high when i saw I'd overestimated Sd just based on a 14" diameter. Don't work with 15"s that much.
So I was glad to see my goof.
You might have seen you've inspired me to try a big dog like you have done. I'm going with an 8:1 CR for 18"s. We'll see, huh?!
