All I know is they're pretty dang fast. And like the old days, don't seem to be rebadged Fiats, the spiders are built on a carbon fiber tub.
The Giulia Quadrifoglio is ridiculously fast for a little sedan. Be sure to clicklisten to engine

I love it when you talk dirty, Tim. 😀10.5:1 pistons, big valves, 11mm Autodelta cams, Shankle header.
Love to see your documentation of that! But I do get cranky about that tire pump. I do have various carbon framed bicycles, but I can find lots off goodies for them without getting that pump!
Years ago, stylists were older types, established, and chosen on their expertise. Now, stylists are young-ish college types, weened on video games, computers, and cheap dorm parties.

Except FCA is garbage and everything they touch turns to poo.

DI2 or Etap ?
And Not far back, you posted a great pair of strumpets! Koda, years ago, I heard the same thing about Alfa's before I bought my Spider. Unreliable, can't get parts, terrible I-had-a-friend-with-one stories. But I had been obsessed with cars since childhood, and had done my homework. Mine was just as reliable as my '84 Accord, parts were just as easy and cheap as the Honda, and it was easier to work on.What an amazing pair of trumpets! 😎
Of course, it's a different world of electronic cars now, and I don't pay much attention anymore.

Truth be told my tinkering days are over, cars or otherwise! 🙂

My dream car is a lotus 11. As I get older I like to be able to use all the power all of the time!
Always wanted a Europa....🙂

I work in the automative field and both of your fantasies concerning 'stylists' are wrong.

Why am I not surprised! So for WOT audio components with shiny and pretty cases are the devils work but a car based on a mediocre sedan with a flashy body is something to be worshipped? Plus, come on you students, up your game and have more expensive parties, you’re letting us down here!

I have a friend with one. Having seen it with the shell off where you can actually see the monocoque you realise that the driver is part of the crumple zone to protect the car! Beautiful car though.
I had a brand new Alfa Guilietta when I was 27 in 1984. I’m convinced that’s how I hooked my wife.
When we met, I was driving a Mazda 323 (old already) but got the Alfa a few months later. Awesome car.

😁 Binary throttle!
I'd love any Lotus, especially an old one with a number instead of a name.
I've had a 7, albeit a replica, and would have another if I could.
Any RWD escort fans on here?

I had a lift in one once (I used to hitch-hike a lot). It was a right old bitsa! When got in I was shocked to see the door handles were from the Morris Marina (I had one at the time) and the owner pointed out all the other parts-bin items in the car! Lotuses of that era were often described as collector's cars. 😀Always wanted a Europa....🙂
I think I rode in a 54 once back in 76 or 77. A buddy of mine new someone who owned it and I was at his house when said person came by and offered me a ride in it. What a nimble little beast for the time. Amazing little engine. The car was pretty plain looking, all white.
Thanks for the rabbit hole, Mark.
Here's the best vantage point to see a vintage Alfa GTAm Skip to about 1:54
