This habit of winking must be cured. I find it ambiguous. I quote from pp21 "Brian Cox - The Unauthorised Biography by Ben Falk":

He (Schoolfriend Tim Haughton) remembers hearing Cox's name again years later, when he was part of a dance outfit D:Ream. 'D:Ream With the nicest will in the World, were a one-hiit wonder' says Haughton. 'They had so much success with that one song. And you thought, this has got to be the springboard to much greater things AND THEY JUST DISAPPEARED OFF THE FACE OF THE PLANET.'

TBH, @Galu, I am not finding it difficult to think of Musical artists and performers who have sustained a career over 10 years.

Barbra Streisand, Katy Perry, Taylor Swift and Jimmy Webb and Boxcar Willie and Frank Sinatra for instance.... maybe just me.
