There are quite a few popular rock songs of the past that were written by Christian artists, and later covered by Christian bands.....and a few other secular rock songs that made their way into some contemporary church services. I have heard Billy Idol's White Wedding played in a church by the church praise band, of course it was a wedding. My favorite was a slightly altered rendition of Eric Clapton's version of Cocaine cranked very loud in a church concert. The word Cocaine was replaced with Jesus, and she was replaced with He.
