The 15 Song Album collection:

Where the Streets Have a Name (a street name in the song title):

01 - Shakedown Street - Grateful Dead
02 - Baker Street - Gerry Rafferty
03 - Goodbye Yellow Brick Road - Elton John
04 - Penny Lane - The Beatles
05 - Kentucky Avenue - Tom Waits
06 - Stanley Road - Paul Weller
07 - On Green Dolphin Street - Rosenberg Trio
08 - 52nd Street - Billy Joel
09 - Dead End Street - The Kinks

I interpreted the theme such as to avoid tracks like No 8. Was I wrong?
I'm going to say No. 8 is okay. It is the name of a street in the title of the song. Numbers 3 & 9, however, may not be acceptable unless that is the actual name of the street. But, it's just a fun game, so I'm not going to be too picky.

Full disclosure here... I borrowed this theme from a radio program. Bob Stroud produces a show called Rock and Roll Roots for Chicago radio station, 97.1 WDRV, Sunday mornings from 9AM to Noon Central Time. It's available online as well, and I highly recommend it. He always has a theme and has an amazing wealth of interesting stories and background on the music he plays.
