Correct Patrick. "Getting the bends" or "taking a bend" is absolutely an underwater phenomena. Some of the entries for this theme seem to be ignoring the phenomena bit.

On reflection perhaps phenomenon was not the best choice of word, but it would seem that particular choice of language has inspired some interesting phenomena!��

Basically my original intent was anything underwater related and this seems to have been the interpretation that most participants have made. 🙂
