Bruce Welch OBE's important contribution as rhythm guitarist is often overlooked as his playing appeared so effortless.
I love those old Shads recordings where you can follow the bass, drums, rhythm and lead guitars separately as well as in unison.

Nothing wrong with instrumentals as far as I'm concerned. We do seem to be struggling, I have two more but I already posted two.
I had an instrumental as well but I thought that they were disallowed a few albums back. I think that they are OK as well.
I wasn't saying that instrumentals should have a blanket ban applied. If, however, the person setting the theme specifically says "songs" then that by definition excludes instrumentals. For example "songs" could be specified to purposely exclude "classical" music.
