Being Welsh (not really) I have to disagree, the letter K is useless 😀

Italians don't like 'K' either, they use 'ch' instead. But they are quite choosy when it comes to letters and refuse to use J, X or Y neither.

As I said K is underappreciated.

The Russians have some more letters in their alphabet, like to letters that aren't pronounced. It's otherwise a phonetic alphabet and easy to learn and the letter K, is not only pronounced accordingly but also written like the latin K.

As I said K is underappreciated.

That's not true. In modern language such as SMS texting the "ch" is replaced often with the K.

Examples: WHy > Perchè > Xke ! the X is the multiplying sign which is "per", same as "plus">più>++++++
Anche ( too ) > anke
Etc.
