I don't remember hearing it before, though it seems vaguely familiar could it be that quality of inherent familiarity that could give it a timeless quality?

I actually like some UB40 but I consider it pop, good pop in some cases but definitinetly not Reggae
I didn't really give the lyrics that much attention. I can understand the perception of it as hippy BS but part of me kinda likes hippy b.s. even though it was a bit before my time.
