I'm surprised at how few comments there have been on peoples entries. Also surprised at lack of songs from the punk era which did tend to polarise groups of friends.

I got into punk era stuff retrospectively when I stopped caring about what others thought of the music I liked.

Does anyone else actually like my #1? It was the B side of "Just For You" released in 1969 and I bought the single for it. I was a fan of Traffic and Family and this single brought elements of both of them together.

As far as I am aware, Little Woman has never officially been available in any digital format. Some of you may think that there is a good reason for that !!

I didn't dislike it, but have only listened to it on my tablet, with its notoriously lofi audio!

I've always been a fan of King Crimson, my favourite song is I Talk To The Wind. 21st Century Schizoid man is another favourite, the distorted vocal is iconic.

I liked all of them but never seen them live, I did go to a couple of rave/gigs by The Orb ( AKA Dr Alex Patterson ) at The Glasgow Barrowlands. Most of my friends were into serious stuff predominantly progressive rock which I could appreciate too, they didn't reciprocate with my tastes in music. Orbital were another great act from that time in the UK.
Personally I thought it was a great time for British music.
