Does anyone have any experience with the THAT 1510/1512 op-amps.
Would they be suitable for using in a phono-preamp, just for the need to try them out.

I've used them a good bit as mic preamps.
I imagine they would work fine for a transformer coupled moving coil.
They would be less than optimal for a direct moving coil output.
They are designed for low impedances so would not be a good match for typical moving magnet cartridges that typically want to see about 47K/200pF.

Mic pres, and Mixing buffer amp, and master outs.
I used the VCA's too. They're descent.

They're balanced in, so you'd want to set up your phono cartridge and cables that way to take advantage. At high gain, the noise voltage is actually pretty low (1.8nV/rt Hz), so they'll work with a lot of MCs.
