I've got a batch of these. Idss is probably over 60mA for these devices so testing this parameter is bit problematic. What I have done is:
1. Test Vgs (off). Typically this measured between 7 and 9 volts
2. Do initial matching based on this figure, then measure Vgs at design current.
I use these mainly as a cascode transistor for Gary Pimm style CCS (with a J113 as the bottom transistor. So matching is not critical.
What application are you planning for these devices?
This is in an amplifier I was working on. I believe I found the problem elsewhere, not the actual J111, I just wanted to know a way to test it out of circuit to see if it was within specs.
