I'm not as savvy on this forum as I am in say, Hammond organs, but I searched and could not find anything about testing some soviet tubes (i.e., 6H2P) on American testers. I have a 600a ($20 at an antique store 😀) and a boatload of soviet tubes. I know most of the time they have a direct american equivalent (6P14P for 6BQ5), but the 6H2P is a 12AX7 with a different filament setup. How can I set my hickok to test these?
The Taylor valve tester allows the 12AX7 test to be performed with the heater at 6.3V, and all else is the same for the 6N2P.
Or if the 12AX7 pinout can be used on a 6EU7 test, that would work.
