The only advantage to having more connections is to allow the simultaneous
connections to various B$ ad-servers.
My win7 IE10 is better at loading a page as many sites REQUIRE all ads to load
before fully loading the real content.
Bottom line, IE is the best for bloated "ad infested" sites (CNN , yahoo, intellicast ..)
Chrome will load 6+ required ad-servers in succession ... ultimately slowing
the full site loading. Compared IE10 vs. chrome 32.0.1700 on intellicast.com
(12 adservers + the sites content !! 😡 )
Chrome is fixed at 6 M/C ... firefox and IE can be increased with either registry
settings or script.
IE- Configure Internet Explorer to simultaneously download more files at a time
Firefox - In the address bar, type: about:config
Look for: network.http.max-connections-per-server ....
