Hello,
I recently acquired a pair of MarkAudio Alpair 5.2 drivers with the goal of building the Woden BloodHound speakers.
I am now looking for the various pieces needed for construction of these speakers. I already have damping material but I don't know what pieces to get for internal wires and terminal cups.
I live in Montreal, Canada.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks

I did! But I feel kind of lost in all the choice there is.
Just for the terminal connectors there are simple ones at 69¢ and it goes up to 5.79$ for essentially the same thing?
Is there a big quality difference between them?
Same thing goes for internal cables!
I will also need a DAC as these speakers will be plugged into my PC but again I don't know how to choose as I lack technical knowledge on these subjects.
Thanks

The short length of internal wiring does not have to possess any magical properties as its resistance will be vanishingly small. Use a reasonable gauge of pure copper wire - not so thick as its weight puts a strain on the loudspeaker terminals or makes soldering difficult.
Terminal cups with solid brass, gold plated binding posts are the ones most commonly used.
Both are available from Solen online: Solen Electronique Inc. | Product categories | Accessories

Post your questions about DACs in the 'Source & Line' - 'Digital Line Level' section of the forum.I will also need a DAC as these speakers will be plugged into my PC but again I don't know how to choose as I lack technical knowledge on these subjects.
Specifically, I would recommend the CLASSIC1.6 cable for your internal wiring and the RPT15GFS-G terminal cup - both from Solen.
I would recommend the RPT17GAS as it has a smaller cutout (50 mm) vs the RPT15GFS (76mm). Also costs a $1 less each. 🙂

The Classic 1.6 cable will work fine. If you want you can experiment with a twisted pair of CAT-5 cable also.

Thanks Galu and zman01, I will take a look at your recommendations for sure. This helps me figure out what is what.
Is the Classic1.6 cable also good for external wires? I don't need long, to connect from the DAC to the speakers.

speculardecay,
You will need an amplifier between the DAC and the speakers. 🙂
What amplifier do you have?

I don't have any in fact.
I should have specified "Amplifier DAC" and not just "DAC"! Sorry about the confusion!
