Maybe some member of this forum has installed the Tenbt Labs XO3 reclocking module in the Shigaraki transport or knows more than I do and thus can direct me in the right direction.
I guess the module is installed in the transport part of the combo..
I gather that the frequency is the same for the Sanyo -which I understand is the transport in the newer Shigaraki- is 639444 or something like that.
Thank you very much in advance.

I can tell you the transport and the SPDIF reclocking must use the same clock so you can either use an XO3 to replace the clock in the transport or build a circuit to reclock the output with a buffered existing clock signal. The freq. is probably 16.9344Mhz.
Have a look at the last 10 pages of the "Finally an affordable transport - The shigaclone" thread for other ideas....
That's a good read but can be confusing. I've been experimenting with a CDM4/M50423FP combo, with new clock, and using a flip-flop to reclock the SPDIF stream. It has improved the signal tremendously and is very noticable sonically. I have yet to look at the signal where it enters the receiver chip,it can probably benefit from better impedence matching.
