Tenma 72-5040 oscilloscope

A guy on my local letgo has a tenma 72-5040 oscilloscope and a BK precision power supply model 1670. The guy wants $150 for both. Does anyone know if that scope will work for amplifier repair?

I can't find anything on the scope but, for audio, there is virtually no triggered sweep scope in good working order that won't be sufficient. The following link shows the difference between a 2mHz scope and a 100mHz scope on one of the highest frequencies that you'll see in car audio.

I'd pay double for an analog display scope than I would for most all of the LCD display scopes. The added digital feature are not needed for most audio repairs.

If the scope is in good working order, it's well worth $150.

The power supply is mostly useless but take it if it's free. Car audio amp repair will require much more current than that supply can produce.
