Hi
What do you want to know (not that I have much info...)? I found one that my dad now uses (completely silver). Very nice amp. I also have an SU-V2 at home (quite different from the SU-V2x).
Technics' New Class A scheme apparently is class A with superior efficiency when to compared to normal class A amps. IIRC, it has a class B main amp and lower power a class A amp that that works in parallel as an error correction element. The "chips" are not complete amplifiers as we know them, but a hybrid circuit for accomplishing this scheme.
Do a search for "Technics New Class A" and you'll be sure to find out more. Another good place to ask about vintage amps is AudioKarma.com forum. I also just came across http://technicsforum.com/Main/.
Good luck

Hi SVI2004A
Sorry to go OT, but do you have any ideas about the faulty selector switch in my SU-V2? When set to AUX, one channel sometimes goes dead. I can rectify this temporarily by tweaking the knob left & right. How do I fix this? Deoxit or replace? Are these parts available?

V2 Selector Switch
I have had this issue with a V4 before, what i did was gave the selector switch a good squirt with contach cleaner, then repeatedly switched through the sources, it came good - they seem to tarnish - especially if not used much over the years.
- Baily 🙂
