Technics SU-500 Safety Light on

I've just recently got hold of a Technics SU-500 Amplifer.

The problem is that after 4secs of turning it on, the Safety light comes on (even if no speakers are connected and the volume is at minimum)

Can any one give some advice on how I might get it working, circuit diagrams or ideas.

The amplifier uses a SVI 3102 stereo power amplifer module.

Safety Light on = OK

The safety light on these old Technics always goes on when the safety is ok !
(I'm supposing it's a green led, just like in my SA-600 ?)
