Hi guys,
I'd like to convert linear pitch control to rotary on my beater Technics 1200. Just an experiment.
Is it possible?
What are the general guidelines to do this?
Is it possible to use a rotary encoder and what would this entail (the ones that have no stops)?
Thanks!

There seem to be like 14 variations. You probably should narrow it down.use a rotary encoder
The "Mk2" I randomly picked is just a slide potentiometer. The rational replacement would be a simple $2 rotary potentiometer. I'd suggests a value except I did peek another one and its pot was different. And it is actually a rheostat so the value matters.
