I was wondering if I should keep the Elna Cerafines which are stock on the P990, including the bi-polar Cerafines? Changed the standard Elna 470 to SilmicII and was thinking of doing the same to the Nichcons, standard Elnas and Technics caps in the Audio PSU section.
I wonder if the Nichicon ES bi-polars are as good as the Cerafines?
Still wondering about the opamps, with the screw adjusters close to the ICs, might be best to leave them. Or just the 2 near the output to LM4562 - re Photo
A Japanese website mentioned Op-amp "M5238FP" Mitsubishi made in I / V conversion, the low-pass filter and line amplifier JRC "5532M", is for headphones have been used JRC5238M".

An externally hosted image should be here but it was not working when we last tested it.

No they are not in my opinion. But probably not much different either.
I'd probalby use the Silmics as coupling capacitors over either the ES or Cerafine.
Hi Erin,
Thank you.
I have new seen Cerafine BP before, so I thought they woudl be better the ES Bp caps. The CD75MK2 Marantz sounds really awesome, and it as SilmicII around the DAC and Opamps, and of course the BP are ES ( but increased capacitance over the original)
Thank you.
