Hi, after hours of use my technics MK 3's are finally starting to slow down a little..
Im a hardstyle Dj and need to play records at around 153 - 155 Bpm but unfortunately on some vinyl i can reach around 150 Bpm. I can play the same vinyl at my friends house on his newer technics and hit around 160 Bpm. Its not a massive because when i play in clubs its fine, Just if i want to make a demo Cd on my own decks it can be a pain..
Whats the best way to solve this?
Thanks.

I don't have a 1200 anymore, but there is a pitch "reset" dial underneath the platter.
If you are still under warranty, I would take to an autherized tech, otherwise you could google search it. It may even be in the owner's manual.

hi there,
sounds like the pitch sliders need replacement, you could try and adjust the range with the preset under the pitch slider board but if the sliders are worn it will not last long, hardly worth the effort.
i replace the pitch sliders on 1210s as a matter of course for djs with this problem, after replacement they will need setting up for pitch range, braking etc
regards
