Technics 1210 bearing upgrade

Hi, does anyone know if Mike new audio still makes replacement 1210 bearings? I can't find anything online,maybe gone out of business.

I think Timestep still offer a bearing upgrade for the SL1200

Technics SL1200 SL1210 -  SL-1210 SL1200   modifications

IanMac is unwell it would appear unfortunately so I shall bide my time till I find second hand Mike new unit......one may appear.

I may consider a time step unit as #2 choice though I would like to hear a 1210 with one installed first before I decide. That's the only way to choose I feel. See you in the future

Oof, sorry to hear that Ian is unwell. Seems that making improved Technics 1200 is bad for your health. The owner of Applied Fidelity, whose jewel bearings were receiving raves, passed from cancer a month or two before I started hunting for replacement bearings.
