While browsing a rare - in my country, at least - 1962 issue of the Audio magazine, I've found an article about "High fidelity with transistors".
In a rather anonymous way, the third page carries the schematics of the main amp section of the TEC S-15 model.
This may say nothing to most of us, but this amp, released in 1961, was the first hifi stereo solid state amp ever sold in quantities.
Tec - or Transis-Tronics - was a small company located in 1601 Olympic Blvd, Santa Monica. The amp got a bad reputation for "burning" quite easily, and as it was sold with a 5 year guarantee, TEC went bankrupt very soon, and was included by Lafayette.
If I'm not mistaken, the configuration was that of a Quasi, no transformers, and this three years earlier than the Leak Stereo 30 !
What do you think of the schematics ? Was the complementary pair driven too hard ?

Thanks for posting the schematic info! I have three of these amps and only one works. I also have the matching FM-15MX FM multiplex tuner. The system actually sounds very good for no restoration. I've been looking for schematics for a long time.
The S-25 was even earlier
I enjoyed very much the recent You Tube post about the S-15, thank you !
Another TEC model came even before, it was the S-25, though it seems it was not a quasi, but a more conservative transformer layout.
