Hello,
I just made a small tear in the membrane (ultra-thin plastic sheet) of a magnetostatic tweeter - Now my question is if this rip will expand due to vibrations (what it's made for and should be glued (with a fine hand and close to no glue) or can be left as is without causing further damage? I can't hear any difference between the non-damaged tweeter and this one so if the damage stays as is all is fine by me. Replacement membranes aren't available anymore btw (Technics TH-400).
Thanks for any replies!
