TEAC VRDS-10 part values

I found a TEAC VRDS 10 in the dumpster where I live. I hooked it up briefly by analog to a T-amp and it seemed to work OK. I opened it up to see what power caps and op-amps I could replace and found that R101 and Z101 were toasted.
Does anyone have the values of these parts and perhaps know what made them burn?

Any help Greatly appreciated!

Don't have the schematics to it, but I am virtually dead certain that R101 will be a high value(4.7-10meg) power line neutral grounding resistor & Z101 will be a spike protection MOV. They would have been fried by a lightning surge on the power line that went through to ground. Probably got pitched because the previous owner's homeowner's insurance likely paid for some new junk, presuming the player & other etc. to be toast. Lucky score.
