Hi, has anyone tried this circuit board? I want to make a bluetooth speaker box with one of those cheap pyle 5" 4ohm 3way car speakers, which would be more than enough for a discrete 15-20w simple mono audio system.
I first looked at tpa3116 boards, but that ic its more oriented to stereo systems, and a BTL version would be too much for what I need, then I found this ic which seems to have the output I am looking for (around 35w), which I can feed it with less voltage to get about 15-20w, keeping the temp even lower and therefore no need for any heatsink at all. I think its the most suitable option for what I am looking. Do you think that's the best option for my discrete speaker box? or there's another class D mono amplifier that is more suitable than this? thanks.

If you're not too concerned about sound quality it'll drive 4ohms without overheating if you keep the power supply volts low, but generally I'd not recommend it for 4ohm duty.
There's a whole thread about it here : http://www.diyaudio.com/forums/class-d/277130-fasten-seat-belts-tda8932-pessimistic-review.html
