I want to try a class D amp with an tube pre-amp/buffer and the TDA8920BJ is my best option.

I would not suggest copying that PCB layout. It is just bad, and overly complex anyway... the more you look at it the more you begin to wonder... I would have to assume it was mostly auto-routed by software. Anyway, layout is very critical for class D DIY. Study this site for suggestions. Good luck.
