The datasheet of TDA7498 and TDA7498E both list 40V as the maximum voltage.
They also say something about an overvoltage protection.
I have not found any evaluation of those numbers, the functionality of the protection, nor of the sound quality at around 40V.
I have no equipment to test that as my laboratory psu can only provide up to 32V.
So maybe somebody has already tried out how the amp behaves at higher voltages.

that's right, at 24v it works quite well.
But i'm interested in how it performs at around 40v and at which voltage the protection kicks in.
