I dont like TDA7294, but this work OK. Easy to bridge. Anybody interesting this PCB?
hi,
is the voltage of the smaller caps is 40 volts?

Yes, but on picture 63v used for smaller and 50v for large caps.

24-0-24 volts is used on the layout.
what is the maximum voltage of transformer you would recommend for this amp?

I use transformer 2x24V AC for general purpose, only for home listening 2x30V AC will be maximum.
hi APPEX, which one do you think best in sound quality, TDA7294 or LM3886?
Tnx....🙂
I prefer sound of LM3886.
I prefer sound of LM3886.
apex how much power this amp can give in 8 ohms, 4 ohms. stereo and bridge.?

2x100w/4R stereo
200w/8R bridge
ser apex does tda needs heat sink? (sorry im just a newbie)
ofcourse Heatsink needed.😛
🙂 hehehe usually heat sinks are included in the design,,... so i thought that was not heat sinked,... thanks

You must use heatsink and be carefull: there is negative rail voltage on IC case!
Right Appex, thats a good point, that should be kept in mind.
Appex, I built a ampli with LM4766, it is sounding so good. can you tell me what is the optimum voltagewhich can be safely used to operate in 30 deg. Celcius ambient temp.
Giving a piture below.

Use +/-24V DC rail voltage.

Thanks Appex. I am currently using +28 -28 V DC for this amp. I made the transformer my self and will reduce the voltage as per your suggession.
Another help I need. I made a tone control unit for that amplifier with LM1036N. I am not satisfied with this tone control unit. Feeling lack of low response, specially below 50Hz. Is that my problem? Do you have any better Bass Treble control schematic and PCB with IC or Transistor? If you have please upload or send to my mail(diptangshu@gmail.com).😕

Hi Appex, how you got The Times of India news paper? I have seen this paper in your photo on Facebook.
