TDA7294 in self- oscillating class-D

Datasheet says that they have 7-10 V/uSec slew rate and MOSFET (or JFET?) output stage. Hmm...
I think, slew rate depends on supply voltage and with proper positive feedback there is possibility to aquire 20-30V/uSec. Not so bad for self- oscillating design, eh? 😉

Is there anyone who wants to check it ?

PS: ST thinks, that TDA7294 is class-AB amp. He-he 😀

Give it a try! I will be very happy to see you get good result.

I tried with LM386, 0.5W, and had lot of fun with it. It was cool with free-run frequency at about 50KHz. But when I try to raise the frequency, temperature get higher and higher. That was to say Id build a class-d amp without power efficiency. ļ In spied of the heat, it still produced good sound. I guess the heat was due to the cross conduction of the output power transistors. Be carefull.

Have fun DIY.
