tda2050H anyone ?

Hello dear diyaudio friends ,
I found a very reliable source of TDA2050H chips and I am looking for some people from USA to be part of the order.
I will get like 20 pieces for me , but If I buy more than 100 pieces the cost for each will be 1.75$ -ish . So is anyone still curious about this chips?
Thanks

I think many would be interested, but the fact that they are out of production for 2 or 3 years now plus the slew of fakes flying around (I have personally been burnt, and that buying commercial quantities from presumed "serious" distributors) no doubt will make people wary of any purchase.

*Today* the only "serious" option in that amp class would be LM1875 bought at Mouser @ U$2.21 each in quantities of 100 or similar orders straight from TI .

You are not telling us where do yours come from nor who is the seller, it does not help much. Sorry.

I personally never bought any electronic component from not authorized sellers, except a
couple of times when I purchased a few discontinued audio amplifier chips from very honest long time members of this forum .
So I understand the concern .
These tda 2050 are 100% authentic , the seller is a friend from UK so getting just a couple of these chips from him is not very tempting since shipping is so expensive.

Well, that DOES look like the real thing.
I would buy all of them if he were closer and adjusted price a little, go figure.
Pity my Customs will *crush* me and triple whatever I pay for them, doubly so since we are defaulting on IMF debt right now so maximum dollar amount any citizen can buy is U$200 per Month. 🙁

Now for an European buyer it´s a very good deal.
