Hey all,
I'm trying to build an amp based on ST's TDA2009 chip in bridge mode. I've used the bridge circuit from the datasheet.
I've previously built the circuit on a pcb but the chip went hot fast. I checked the connections and there were no short circuits. I'm not sure what went wrong.
I've redesigned the the pcb and I'd like to get some help if I did it right this time. All ground points are connected to a ground pour. Images are in the attachments

That attachment at post#2 achieved very little efficiency as well as very little power output; however, it absolutely excelled at relaxed volume music replay. The thing sounded just like a high end amplifier. Applicable venue sizes include office and bedroom.
