Hi,
I am sharing the file I got from my friend, it's a TDA1541A DAC with multiple input interface including I2S.
Also, for convenience there is a InterActive BOM that helps a lot while soldering components.
The attached .Zip file contains
A) GERBER files in Zip, ready for fabrication.
B) BOM in HTML.
Please let me know if there is problems.
Regards,
J

@jensenhoffman Nice project, thank you for sharing 🙂
... Difference between mine and this will be in the absence of digital filter ... you can then try both and compare 😉

Thank you, I remember SAA7220 can be replaced by some logic parts to do NOS job, right?@jensenhoffman Nice project, thank you for sharing 🙂

So, I thinks it is still possible to make this a NOS TDA5141A D/A without digital filter.
DAC pcb looks great.
Thanks for sharing the gerbers.
Maybe leave the SAA7220P in but have a bypass option then it would be easy to compare OS to NOS.
There is lots of online info re SAA7220P bypass options with TDA1541 DAC's.

New DACs with TDA1541A 🙂 Anyway, SAA7220 is a tough chip as it pollutes its own power supply. It would make sense to have ferrite beads and a local regulator close to it. There is something to be gained with direct improvement and simple parts.
TDA1315 is an odd choice if one wants the best results. Or is the vintage 1996 jitter desired for in 2022? 😀

Schematic and layout is just a copy of chinese "anniversary" boards. They are/where totally messed up 4 layer boards with ~60% PCB space just unused...
